GME Administration

	John L. Weinerth, M.D. Director, Graduate Medical Education (919) 684-4833, M145D Davison Bldg weine008@mc.duke.edu Dr. Weinerth is an Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education in the Medical School and Director of Graduate Medical Education for Duke Hospital. He has served in these roles from May 1974 - May 1985 and from May 1989 to the present. He also serves as chairman of the ICGME (Institutional Committee for Graduate Medical Education.)
	Kathy Andolsek, M.D. Associate Director, Graduate Medical Education (919) 668-3883, M145B Davison Bldg andol001@mc.duke.edu Dr. Andolsek began her career at Duke as a Resident in July 1976 and joined the GME Office in July 2002. She wears many hats at Duke; in GME she advises the Program Training Directors with their site visit, problem trainees, and core competencies. She also works in improving the measurement of teaching excellence.
	Alisa Nagler, J.D. Ed.D, GME Educator (919) 681-6601, 1086 Yellow Zone alisa.nagler@duke.edu Dr. Nagler joined the Office of Graduate Medical Education in January 2007. She consults with GME programs on their educational needs to ensure educational program quality and compliance with ACGME requirements.
	Tammy Tuck, Administrator, Graduate Medical Education (919) 684-4367, M145A Davison Bldg tuck0001@mc.duke.edu Tammy Tuck has been with the GME office since August 1982. She works closely with the accrediting agencies and ensuring compliance.
	Peggy Moore, Finance Director (919)684-3597, M145C Green Zone peggy.r.moore@duke.edu Peggy joined the GME Office in December 2006. She is responsible for the control of monies being charged to hospital fund codes, and billing the clinical departments and outside institutions.
	Gwen Murphy, GME Educator (919) 681-5744, 1086 Yellow Zone gwen.murphy@duke.edu Dr. Murphy has been at Duke since 1978. She splits her time between Obesity research in the Duke Center for Community Research and GME where she works to improve educational outcomes.
	Chuck Rodgers, Director of Information & Instructional Technology (919) 684-0148, 1087 Yellow Zone chuck.rodgers@duke.edu Chuck joined the GME Office in April 2008. He is responsible for providing leadership and guidance in the development of overall information technology strategy, network infrastructure, and technology driven teaching and learning for Graduate Medical Education.
GME Staff
	Sandra Allen (Sandi), GME Registrar (919) 684-8609, M139 Davison Bldg allen009@mc.duke.edu Sandi has been with the GME office since July 1979. She maintains the GME trainees residency history records and interpreting information from the departments. She assists programs and new trainees with the inreach process. She also works closely with the NC Medical Board ensuring all trainees are licensed appropriately.
	Leslie Johnson, ICGME (919) 684-6921, M145 Davison Bldg leslie.johnson@duke.edu Leslie joined the GME Office in August 2004. She coordinates and assists Dr. Weinerth in monitoring ACGME policies and ensuring Duke’s compliance. In addition she manages the National Residency Match Program.
	Paula Lee, Compliance (919) 684-5369, M148 Davison Bldg paula.lee@duke.edu Paula joined the GME Office in October 2006. She tracks initial and annual safety training attendance to ensure compliance with JCAHO and ECMS policy. Also works with departments to ensure that all trainees maintain current ACLS/BCLS/PALS training as required by Duke Hospital.
	Crystal McGhee, Outreach/IRIS (919) 684-4439, M148 Davison Bldg crystal.mcghee@duke.edu Crystal joined the GME Office in April 2006. She handles all aspects of Outreach, as well as location reporting. She assists the Administrative Director in addition to other office activities.
	Chrystal Stancil, Payroll & Benefits (919) 684-2960, M140 Davison Bldg chrystal.stancil@duke.edu Chrystal Stancil has been a member of the GME Office since September 2003. She assists the GME trainees with all payroll and benefit issues.
	Kate Taylor, Verification (919) 684-4477, M148 Davison Bldg kathryn.taylor@duke.edu Kate Taylor has been a member of the GME Office since April 2008. She is responsible for verification of all House Staff training, preparation of verification letter, and submission to GME Administrator Director. She also serves as liaison to the NC Medical Board.
	Jill Watkins, Accounting (919) 684-2897, M148 Davison Bldg j.watkins@duke.edu Jill joined the GME Office in November 2006. She coordinates TSMA/Moonlighting approvals and is also responsible for all accounting/budget procedures for GME Office. She assists the Administrative Director in addition to other office activities.
